The Arcotherm EC55 air inlet kit improves efficiency and reduces running costs for EC55 indirect oil-fired space heaters. This cleverly designed kit allows warm air to be recycled through the heater, saving fuel consumption.
The 350mm diameter adapter ring fits onto the back of the EC55 heater, where the fan draws in air. It securely holds 6 metres of flexible tubing, included in the kit. This ducting feeds the already-heated air from the space back into the combustion chamber to be reused. Recirculating the warm air in this way means the heater uses less fuel to reheat the air.
Installing the air inlet kit can make EC55 heaters up to 60% more efficient. This is achieved by recycling air that has already been warmed instead of continually heating new cold air drawn in. Run times are shorter, and less fuel is consumed, reducing operating costs substantially. The kit also allows longer intervals between refilling fuel tanks.
The air inlet kit is designed specifically to suit EC55 indirect oil-fired space heaters. Fitting the kit is straightforward. The adapter ring attaches securely to the back of the heater over the air inlet, and the flexible ducting feeds back into the combustion chamber. No complex connections or modifications are required to start benefiting from improved efficiency.
