The Consort RAC-HL is an advanced range of large, recessed, ceiling-mounted air curtains suitable for commercial and industrial applications. Available in heat outputs from 8 to 24kW, these 3-phase 50Hz units create an effective barrier against heat loss and climate control problems at doorways and windows.
At the heart of these recessed air curtains is the electronic touchscreen controller, which allows easy control and monitoring of interconnected air curtains from one central point. The controller provides a choice of operating modes to optimise energy efficiency, adjustable heat settings, fan speeds, and a 7-day timer. Enhanced security is provided through PIN code access to prevent unauthorised changes.
Despite its advanced functionality, the RAC-HL is simple to install thanks to its plug-and-play wiring system and shallow 300mm recess requirement. Units can be interconnected to cover large doorways and open spaces. The downward-blowing airflow forms an adjustable barrier to manage heat loss and climate control.
With intelligent control of fan speed and heat output via the external temperature sensor, the RAC-HL delivers significant energy savings by preventing unnecessary heat loss and system operation. The EC fan motors are highly efficient, and straightforward energy usage monitoring helps identify savings. Overall, the RAC-HL provides the optimum balance of comfort and efficiency.
