This infrared heater features an attractive floor lamp-style design with a durable aluminium body and stainless steel stand. Despite its robust construction, the Florida remains lightweight and portable thanks to its 10.5kg weight.
At the heart of the Herschel Florida is its high-performance carbon heating lamp. This provides near-instant heating, warming up in 5–10 seconds. The lamp gives off a soft, orange glow perfect for creating ambience without glare. Heat output can be adjusted between 50% and 100% power, allowing you to tailor it to your space. At full 2kW output, it can efficiently heat areas up to 12sq.m indoors or 7sq.m outdoors.
Safety is a top priority for the Florida heater. It is equipped with a tip-over auto shut-off that instantly turns off the unit if it gets knocked over. This prevents accidents and gives peace of mind when using it in busy areas. The IP44 weatherproof rating also makes it suitable for sheltered outdoor use.
